Present Continuous

A series of abstract lyrical landscape photographs that disconnect the image from its local context.

My work shows the landscapes as moving through space while the viewer is prevented from settling in to locate any kind of defined structure. The photos abstract the subject matter and obscure the details of the environments.

Like in a dream, the domain of consciousness is in a continuous present time. Memory-place relationships are detached but charged with the personal identity, embedded into the images.

The images were created using an analog 6x6 camera.
